Enjoy amazing views over the Crackenback Valley and further afield to the main range of the Kosciuszko National Park. Fully renovated in 2007, the central lounge and dining area ooze Snowy Mountains and skiing history while the providing the comfort of modern amenities with hearty food prepared by our qualified chef in our world class kitchen. The cabins all have private en-suites, also brand new in 2007, and sleep up to 4 or 6 people in each with one double bed and two bunks perfect for families. The chalet is also the ultimate destination for larger groups. Run by the same team as the eco-certified Alpine Habitats just down the road, Habitat Chalet's sustainable worm farm sewer systems, rain water supply and waste management systems will minimise your impact on our environment. Habitat Chalet is the perfect year round base from which to explore the NSW Snowy Mountains, and in winter the Thredbo and Perisher ski fields.
