Hotel Miramare

Hotel Miramare is a charming 4 star hotel located on the Bay of Naples between Piazza del Plebiscito and Castel dell Ovo. It was originally built as a private villa in 1914 and housed the American Consulate from 1939 to 1944. It is close to the Mergellina Port and downtown Naples- on the seaside promenade with spectacular views across to Mount Vesuvius. The hotel enjoys great transport links including the harbour and buses for Napoli Centrale Train Station and there is a shuttle service to the airport available at an additional charge. Its excellent location makes it easy to reach cultural sites- beach and shopping centres. The hotel retains an aura of its venerable and glamorous history with bedrooms furnished and decorated in harmonious colours with high quality furniture. All are equipped with complimentary high speed WIFI- a minibar- a flat screen satellite TV- air-conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower. Many of the rooms come with balcony and some offer sea views. The hotel does not have a restaurant but it does serve a rich breakfast daily- on the terrace in summer with its spectacular view of Mount Vesuvius- Sorrento Coast and Capri. Miramare guests can enjoy special attention also from the 3 nearby restaurants owned by the same family. The hotel does have a Bar and Lounge area. The hotel has one meeting room that can accommodate up to 30. Private parking is available next to the hotel available at an additional charge. Additional information- Children under 6 years stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding or in a child cot or crib if under 2 years. Children aged 3 - 13 years are charged EUR 30 per child per night in an extra bed. Children 14 years and over are charged EUR 40. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately on arrival. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.
